I have noticed there are two kinds of people in this world; positive thinkers and negative thinkers. I, myself, am a positive thinker. I tend look on the brighter side of things and even when something bad is going on I still believe the outcome is going to work out, or at least be better in the long run. Therefore I have learned and know with absolute certainty, when something wrong, disappointing or tragic comes knocking at your door your mindset makes such a difference.
Take my accident for instance. Being paralyzed and unable to move at the young age of 16 was sure enough tragic, but when I came face to face with it I had a choice to make. I could let the paralysis define me, decide to give up, and live a miserable life or I can set my mind to think differently and enjoy life despite my circumstances and choose to press on. I choose to live life happily and the fullest it can be.
In celebration of the Super Bowl tonight one of the most inspiring things to me about Russell Wilson is his championship mindset. Just read below what he says throughout the playoff game and see how positive he stayed despite their score. He really knows how to keep his mind set on the positive and as he does it rubs off on others. While they pulled through there and had a victory, unfortunately they weren’t able to do the same at the Super Bowl. I do know for a fact however, that even though they lost, Russell Wilson is staying positive and already made up his mind to believe for the best for next year to pull off that Super Bowl win!
I don’t know what any of you may be going through, but decide today that no matter what it is, if you make up your mind to see the positive regardless of your circumstances, YOU WILL. My life is a true testament to that. God can and will carry you through ANY situation. He carries me, He carries Russell Wilson and He will carry you too. You just need to let him.
I give you a challenge. For the next 30 days, no matter what is going on…. make up your mind to keep a positive mindset. Stop, take a deep breath, ask the Lord to help carry you through whatever it may be, and PRESS ON.. Tell Him you know He has it under control and that He will reveal the good from it in time! Romans 8:28 says, “We know that all things work together for good or those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.” The more you do this, the more your life will become a positive testimony.. I dare you to just try it.

SEATTLE – Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is known for his Championship Mindset.
1 – 0 every week. That’s his motto.
Wilson took that very mindset into the NFC Championship Game. He never doubted that the Seahawks would be heading back to the Super Bowl – even when the Green Bay Packers had a commanding 16 – 0 lead over the Hawks at halftime.
Only one microphone was recording Wilson that day and Q13 FOX has the sounds of the game as he led the Hawks to one of the most incredible comebacks in NFL history.
“Jonny! We’re gonna win this game man.
Hey, keep working it baby, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go baby.
We only got four minutes left, let’s go. Stay in it.
Man, I want it. Man, I want it! I hate losing.”
Wilson shows tremendous leadership and inspiring faith both on and off the field.
“Why not us?”
“Make them notice.”
“One Mission.”
“Business Trip.”
It’s mind over matter for Russell Wilson.
“Man, I want it. Man, I want it! I hate losing.
Believe in me, love of God. It’s all about You.
You just gotta keep believing man. No doubt on my mind, bro.
Wait for the situation, bro. Let’s go big, bro. We’re meant for it, man. One play at a time. Let’s just execute.
We gotta score this drive right here. Hey man, just keep believing. One play at a time. Let’s go! We’re gonna get it done.”
Here’s a full transcript of Wilson’s historic comments:

Big stop right there. There you go, Cliff.
I see you, 29.
PC: How about the defense, huh?
RW: Look, they’re playing man and they’re trying to press us, the boom.
A: He steps up in the pocket and lets it fly downfield. Kearse downfield. Ball is picked off, coming the other way. It’s Ha Ha Dix! Second one of the day across mid field, gets a block.
RW: He didn’t get me that good, he thought did.
RO: You all right?
RW: Yeah, I’m good.
Hey, we gotta save the time, I don’t care, you know what I’m saying? I gotta go for it. We’re not gonna win not going for it. Let’s go.
Oof.
JK: I was trying to match the shoulder, I guess
A: Lynch gets it straight ahead, he’s got a first down, still driving defenders across the 40-yard line
RW: You all right? You all right? Hang in there for me, okay?
JB: I’m all right.
A: Snap is good, spot, it’s a fake! Jon Ryan around the first and he’s gonna throw, he’s got a man in the end zone! It is a touchdown! Seahawks!
RW: Jonny! We’re gonna win this game man.
Hey, keep working it baby, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go baby.
We only got four minutes left, let’s go. Stay in it.
Man, I want it. Man, I want it!
Let’s go! We’re gonna get it done.
Let’s go for it! (…)Let’s just do our jobs.
A: Wilson has a shot with a slot to his right side, fires the pass. Doug Baldwin spins out of the tackle on the 40, heads to the far side lines down to 35-yard line.
The play, fake, Wilson! He’s gonna step in untouched. A touch down, Seahawks!
RW: Good job, bro. Go to battle for me, man.
A: There it is. Bounces high. Seattle has a chance. It’s bouncing around. The Seahawks got it! The Seahawks have it in mid-field. They got it!
PC: We’re down. We got a lot of time, you know. We can take the ball around. You can run whatever you want to.
It’s a two minute drive from the 30-yard line. Let’s do it.
RW: Hey Boyd, Boyd, Boyd, 156 we got plenty of time.
A: Marshawn gets it, he’s already at the 20, 10, nine. Are you kidding me?
RW: We’re going for 2. Going for 2! Going for 2!
A: Russell’s gonna roll right, he looks, man in his face. Still looking. Gonna throw it up to the back of the end zone. He looks for help. There’s Luke Willson! He made the catch for the two-point conversion! Can you say come back?
RW: Woooo! Let’s go, let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go! I want this. I want it! I want it!
A: There’s the kick. It’s long enough and it is good. And for 48, we’re tied with fourteen seconds left.
PC: Do things just the way we do it. If we can get this done; look what you just did, look what you just did!
A: Look, he’s gonna let it fly now. Baldwin makes the catch, he’s down inside the 40
Russell takes the snap, drops back. He’s gonna throw down the middle. He’s got a man.
RW: Game over, baby!
A: Touchdown! And the game is over! The Seahawks are going back to the Super Bowl!
RW: I told you! I told you! Thank you Jesus, man.
PC: Woohoooohooo!
RW: Hey, great play. I love you, bro. I could get it to you every time. Every time, bro, every time! I love you, bro. Nice work, man
